Overview

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development within the Healthcare vertical, focusing on Life Sciences organizations to drive profitable revenue growth.

In Short

  • Develop territory and account level growth strategies.
  • Identify and drive sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and new business objectives.
  • Understand market direction and needs of Life Sciences clients.
  • Lead negotiations through the sales cycle to closure.
  • Transition responsibilities to Account Management and Implementation teams.
  • Maintain relationships and drive adoption of LexisNexis Risk services.
  • Demonstrate strong persuasion and communication skills.
  • Manage multiple concurrent activities with fluctuating deadlines.
  • Travel required up to 50%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, with 5+ years in Life Sciences.
  • Demonstrated domain knowledge in Life Sciences.
  • Knowledge of clinical research and drug development.
  • Proven track record in strategic new business selling.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with dependencies.
  • Knowledge of Big Data and Cloud Computing is a plus.
