We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software National Account Manager oriented in IoT Software and Device Management individual to join our team. This is a remote position managing the US territory. Ideal locations: IL, MN, TX, GA . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in:

  • IoT solutions across various vertical segments (E-health, POS, Security, Transportation etc.) with specific experience in Microsoft IoT embedded licensing
  • The candidate will report to the VP Sales North America in the IoT Software division of Kontron.   
  • This is an individual contributor role. 
  • Candidate will be able to manage and facilitate customer meetings and engage with manager to VP level contacts.   


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Nurture and manage IoT software and device management solutions 
  • Present device management portal to customers to show the platform and demonstrate value 
  • Cold call potential clients to generate new business opportunities. 
  • Form and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management. 
  • Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and create presentations. 
  • Utilize CRM tool to log customer data – Dynamics 365  
  • Work closely with operations and engineering ?teams in US and EU. 
  • Travel up to 50% to meet with clients and partners. 
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows to showcase Kontron solutions. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in IoT software and device management platform  
  • Ability to reach out to new opportunities quickly and set up customer meetings 
  • Understanding of Operating systems (Linux, Android, iOS, Windows) 
  • Excellent relationship building and strategic partnership skills. 
  • Highly organized and can prepare and present reports to senior management. 
  • Bachelors Degree required – engineering focus is preferred  
  • 7-10 years experience in IoT sales and software industry, required 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Expertise in Microsoft IoT embedded licensing  
  • Demonstrated experience of solution selling and/or consultative sales techniques 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. 
  • Ability to work in fast paced changing environment.
