Overview

The Partner Account Manager is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key reseller partners to drive sales and customer acquisition for KnowBe4's cybersecurity products. This role involves understanding partner motivations, enabling their success, and collaborating on strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners reselling KnowBe4 products
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand partners’ organizational structure and goals
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of partners' business and operations
  • Onboard assigned partners
  • Collaborate with partners to develop strategic business plans
  • Enable partners with product knowledge and sales best practices
  • Communicate the value of KnowBe4 to increase partner investment
  • Engage leadership to gain executive buy-in
  • Drive partners to utilize marketing tools and implement campaigns
  • Monitor partner performance and track KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com
  • Ensure partner compliance with agreements
  • Drive adoption of company programs among partners
  • Set clear expectations with partners

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field a plus
  • Familiarity with IT Security concepts
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with Channel Sales required
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Demonstrate sales aptitude, assertiveness, and consultative skills
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Passionate about business and willing to go the extra mile
