This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager. In this role, you will be crucial in driving growth and expanding the business footprint among strategic accounts. You will be responsible for not only procuring new clients but also maintaining relationships with existing customers. Your ability to understand market dynamics and client needs will help in crafting tailored solutions that optimize technology investments, reduce costs, and mitigate risks for clients in a hybrid IT environment.

In Short

  • Prospect across a broad range of accounts to uncover new business opportunities
  • Establish trust and credibility with prospective clients by understanding their business challenges
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify pain points and objectives
  • Articulate solutions to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts
  • Collaborate with the Pre-sales team for impactful presentations and product demonstrations
  • Work with Channel & Alliance representatives on joint opportunities
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and deliver against that forecast
  • Address customer objections and concerns effectively
  • Navigate barriers to drive successful outcomes
  • Successfully negotiate pricing and contractual agreements

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in selling Software solutions (Cloud, ITAM/SAM, data, security)
  • Experience utilizing a defined Sales Methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger)
  • Proficient in uncovering opportunities with new and existing accounts
  • End-to-end sales process ownership
  • Strong reputation for exceeding sales quota
  • Consultative sales experience targeting cost savings and efficiencies in IT organizations
