As a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner at Headway, you will play a critical role in strengthening organizational health, mitigating risk, and reinforcing our values through fair, consistent, and compassionate practices.

In Short

  • Lead employee relations and accommodations processes with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, Legal, and business leaders.
  • Support managers through performance documentation and difficult conversations.
  • Create and improve scalable systems for documentation and processes.
  • Use data to identify trends and drive proactive solutions.
  • Model Headway’s cultural principles in every interaction.
  • Navigate ambiguity with clarity and empathy.
  • Ensure timely, fair, and Headway-aligned outcomes in complex ER matters.
  • Act as the central point of contact for accommodations processes.
  • Build manager capability and continuously improve systems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Employee Relations, HR, or employment law-focused roles.
  • Skilled in handling complex ER matters with discretion and fairness.
  • Understand legal and human dimensions of workplace issues.
  • Systems thinker who builds scalable processes.
  • Emotionally intelligent and values-driven.
  • Operate with high ownership and follow-through.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately.
  • Care deeply about fairness and inclusion.
