Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue accounting for a fast-growing company. You’ll focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition, month-end close, reporting, and building scalable processes and systems.

In Short

• Support revenue month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and documentation of scalable revenue processes.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Ops and Data teams to develop and test billing and revenue systems.
• Analyze large data sets to validate system configurations and financial reporting outputs.
• Support annual audit requests and provide documentation for revenue-related testing.
• Identify and implement process improvements using AI tools and automation.
• Lead revenue-related projects, coordinating with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting and/or audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field.
• CPA (or CPA track).
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 (a plus).
• Big 4 audit background and/or experience in high-growth environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Problem solver who works efficiently under pressure.
• Initiative to tackle complex accounting challenges.
