Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Axon, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and complete revenue and cost accounting in accordance with applicable accounting standards while working collaboratively across various teams.

In Short

• Develop understanding of order-to-cash process
• Perform monthly and quarterly analytical reviews
• Prepare journal entries for revenue and costs
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and IT
• Support reporting and analytics design
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support audits by providing documentation
• Contribute to process improvements
• Assist with special projects and analyses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience
• Revenue accounting experience preferred
• Understanding of revenue recognition principles
• Experience in SaaS or technology environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills
• Self-starter with collaborative skills
