Senior Accountant, Revenue - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Revenue to join our fast-paced and growing finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of ensuring revenue is accurately recognized and reported in compliance with GAAP and ASC 606, while driving process improvements that support the scale and complexity of a high-growth eCommerce environment.

In Short

• Review revenue related arrangements for compliance with US GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Assist in the quarterly and year-end audit process
• Analyze revenue performance and analytics to identify risks and opportunities for improvements
• Ensure compliance with key controls in the order to cash cycle
• Prepare and complete monthly revenue accounting close efforts
• Monitor, recommend, and implement improvements to current methodologies & practices
• Work closely with other finance team members and cross functional departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset
• Data mining and troubleshooting data feeds
• Critical thinker and strong problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with Google Sheets/Slides
