Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

Greenlight is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant who will work with other Greenlight Accounting and Finance team members on various challenging assignments.

In Short

• Prepare journal entries and analyze automated revenue postings.
• Review contracts and sales orders with commercial customers.
• Monitor day-to-day billing activities and perform financial analysis.
• Assist in the month-end close process for all revenue channels.
• Identify opportunities within revenue operations to drive efficiencies.
• Translate ASC 606 requirements for revenue recognition.
• Work cross-functionally with different stakeholders in the business.
• Develop detailed project plans for departmental projects.
• Implement AI solutions to automate routine accounting tasks.
• Provide additional month-end close support to the Accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in industry or public accounting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP and revenue recognition platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 requirements.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for financial data analysis.
• Experience in corporate month-end closing cycle.
• Excellent time and self-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
