Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Figma, you will play a vital role in the month-end close processes, reporting, and operational procedures, contributing to the mission of making design accessible to all.

In Short

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities.
• Prepare AR Aging CECL326, credit memo, and bad debt listing process.
• Prepare revenue procedures and ensure compliance with GAAP and ASC 606.
• Support external audit requirements related to revenue and SOX compliance.
• Perform contract reviews to verify accurate recording of contracts.
• Assist in SOX implementation and monitoring internal controls.
• Provide support for accounting workflow in new product introductions.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and corporate revenue accounting.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS technology business.
• Experience with payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Square, Paypal).
• Up-to-date knowledge in ASC 606.
• Data warehouse and system integration experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
