In Short

• Manage and hire a group of world-class designers
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to improve team processes and execution
• Develop a perspective on your teams’ product areas and successfully advocate for it
• Run and improve team processes like critiques, reviews, and design sprints
• Stay in the work, managing people and overseeing strategy and execution hands-on
• Thrive in fast-paced, experimental environments
• Set and maintain a high quality bar through feedback and coaching

Requirements

• 3+ years of design management experience
• Track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Hands-on expertise with Figma’s tools
• Experience influencing teams through strategic thinking and storytelling
• Familiarity with AI developments and generative design tools
• Comfort with uncertainty in fast-moving environments
