Senior Accountant, Revenue - Remote

In Short

• Own a portion of the revenue close process, including preparation of revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analyses.
• Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and internal policy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Strategic Finance, Legal, and Operations.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of systems and processes that automate revenue recognition.
• Prepare audit documentation and support external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue fluctuations.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and reporting to support strategic decision making.
• Drive continuous process improvements with a focus on scale, automation, and integration of AI.
• Assist the Accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and complex revenue arrangements.
• Prior experience in revenue operations or quote-to-cash processes in a SaaS or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial contracts and statements.
• Experience in implementing or improving automated solutions, including AI tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and revenue accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
