Join a mission-driven Finance team at a company that’s transforming healthcare at scale. You will have an immediate impact in supporting Virta’s rapid growth — ensuring smooth, accurate financial operations as we scale. This role will work closely with one other AP Specialist and report to the AP Associate Manager. You will also collaborate with the broader Finance team and will have exposure to a variety of systems and to various other teams at Virta.

In Short

• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries
• Process invoices and ensure accurate GL coding
• Handle expense reimbursements and maintain compliance
• Review company credit card transactions for accuracy
• Maintain organized digital records of financial documents
• Perform month-end accounting duties
• Prepare weekly payment runs for vendor disbursements
• Support ad-hoc requests regarding spend
• Prepare and distribute annual 1099s
• Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with full cycle vendor management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to multitask under deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exemplary interpersonal skills
• Optimistic attitude
• Knowledge of accounting systems preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance a plus
