Senior AML Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Own and optimize AML transaction monitoring and screening systems.
• Analyze alert and case data to identify trends and gaps.
• Investigate and clear transaction monitoring alerts.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to enhance AML controls.
• Manage AML vendor performance and issues.
• Conduct validation and testing of monitoring scenarios.
• Support model/rule governance and documentation.
• Perform quality assurance on alerts and cases.
• Contribute to AML policies and risk assessments.
• Assist with audits and regulatory exams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of AML/BSA/CTF experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AML systems.
• Experience working with AML data.
• Experience managing third-party AML vendors.
• Familiarity with model/rule validation and tuning methodologies.
• CAMS, CFE, or similar certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of BSA/AML regulations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical system rules.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally.
