Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

JumpCloud® is seeking a high-energy Senior Revenue Accountant to manage revenue recognition and billing processes for B2B SaaS sales in a remote work environment.

In Short

• Review B2B SaaS sales contracts for compliance with ASC 606.
• Execute billing transactions and revenue schedules.
• Identify and implement additional controls within the Q2C process.
• Maintain a near-zero error rate in revenue-related transactions.
• Prepare monthly revenue reports and journal entries.
• Assist in ensuring SOX compliance for revenue-related controls.
• Communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation on revenue accounting policies.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of revenue recognition experience in a SaaS company.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CPQ is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
