Senior Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Revenue Accountant will join a skilled team within the Controllership organization, responsible for revenue accounting in a tech and media company, focusing on various business lines.

In Short

• Support revenue accounting for Rentals, New Construction, and Media business lines.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Provide insights into financial results for leadership.
• Pursue optimization and automation of accounting processes.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships with finance and business stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with financial reporting requirements and SOX controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Coach junior team members and review their deliverables.
• Engage in special projects and analyses as needed.
• Work remotely from any location in the U.S.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in tech or public accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and data handling aptitude.
• Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and/or Zuora preferred.
• Familiarity with Alteryx Designer and/or Databricks is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to manage conflicting responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
