Bioinformatics Software Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The Bioinformatics Software Engineer II will help design and develop web services, applications, products, and APIs that reach Guardant Health’s stakeholders and customers, participating in all aspects of software development.

• Design and develop web services and applications
• Participate in user requirement gathering and system design

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in software development
• 2+ years experience with Python or TypeScript
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
• Understanding of database design and MySQL
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Automation
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus
