In Short

• The Pipelines Engineering team builds and maintains analytical bioinformatics pipelines.
• Develop new and refine existing bioinformatics pipelines.
• Work as part of a globally distributed development team.
• Implement new and enhance existing functionality in pipelines.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of functionality.
• Process large numerical datasets efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Understand and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Support and extend next-generation sequencing framework.
• Evangelize best practices in processes and procedures.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; MS preferred.
• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like DNAnexus and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and R.
• Experience with source control systems like GitLab.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn new skills in genetics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
