Technical Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team! Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing company and play a driving role in our accounting and financial operations.

In Short

• Analyze accounting implications of new transactions and business changes.
• Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on development costs.
• Implement timely changes to systems for efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement new accounting standards.
• Assist in the review of accounting policies for compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Develop and monitor internal controls for accuracy.
• Assist with requests from external auditors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Highly skilled in MS Excel.
• Experience with Grafana, SQL, BigQuery, Tableau preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
