Technical Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Technical Accounting Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will be responsible for ownership and execution of GAAP accounting analysis and disclosure to support Oklo’s public company reporting requirements.

In Short

• Provide expertise on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
• Train staff on technical accounting matters and best practices.
• Liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Work closely with various departments to ensure understanding of accounting policies.
• Support with annual impairment assessments.
• Assist with month end close and consolidation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP reporting.
• Preparation of quarterly SEC and GAAP disclosure checklists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Five to seven years of public accounting experience.
• Strong familiarity with ASC literature.
• Proven project management experience.
• Active CPA.
