Overview

Geotab is seeking a Partner Account Manager who will be responsible for building, developing, and nurturing strong business relationships within an assigned list of Geotab partners.

In Short

  • Manage and develop Geotab partners to drive revenue and unit sales.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Document sales and marketing activity through Salesforce.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Conduct regular business review meetings with resellers.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for partners.
  • Assist with RFPs/RFIs as needed.
  • Manage pilots to facilitate prospect outcomes.
  • Evaluate marketing activities to position the Geotab brand effectively.
  • Attend trade shows to build company credibility and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • 5+ years in an account management position with a channel sales organization.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Understanding of how partners make money in a channel ecosystem.
  • Experience in the telematics industry or knowledge of Geotab products.
  • Proven track record in developing new sales/partner accounts.
  • Success in forecasting account activities and meeting goals.
  • Highly adaptable to changes in business direction.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset in a flat organization.
  • Exceptional skills in developing client relationships.
