Overview

The Director, Strategic Accounts – Single-Family is responsible for ensuring the successful achievement of sales, profit and market share objectives utilizing the entire Fortune Brands Outdoors Portfolio.

In Short

  • Provide leadership and guidance directly to Strategic Account Managers.
  • Ensure execution on existing agreements and develop new initiatives for growth.
  • Establish relationships with key customers at the senior level.
  • Collaborate with sales teams for optimal execution.
  • Oversee customer contracts, product planning, and pricing.
  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals.
  • Ensure market coverage for all accounts.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of sales activities.
  • Define internal processes and tools for sales tracking.
  • Support strategic planning processes with insights and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and/or management.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • Ability to manage a budget and increase sales ROI.
  • Must reside near a large airport.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ and work non-standard hours.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Excellent communication skills for high-level interactions.
  • Proven track record of growing sales.
