Overview

The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for managing and building a team of Senior Account Executives in the US, defining new business sales strategies and driving growth in the region.

In Short

  • Carry a team quota; regularly meet and/or exceed sales goals
  • Define and execute sales plans and strategies, including specific account plans
  • Establish relationships with decision makers in named accounts
  • Hire, recruit, mentor and develop top enterprise sales talent
  • Develop and own the sales funnel, optimizing every step
  • Define new processes to increase overall productivity
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Keep abreast of competition
  • Communicate proactively with management, customers and support staff
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of enterprise sales experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales management experience
  • Experience in a high growth software company
  • Proven success in selling innovative solutions/services
  • A strong network with top 500 eCommerce companies is a plus
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence, train and motivate others
  • Prior success building and leading a sales team
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, scaleup environment
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and love of selling
