People Generalist, APAC - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a People Generalist (APAC) to join our global People team on a 6-8 month maternity cover contract. Reporting directly to the Sr. HRBP + People Programs Manager, you will act as an advisor to our leaders in APAC, be the main point of contact for employees, and implement strategic initiatives in partnership with the wider People team.

In Short

• Consult on HR-related topics and procedures for leaders and employees across APAC.
• Partner with local leaders in China, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
• Collaborate with the global Recruitment team to address local talent shortages.
• Ensure legal compliance with local employment laws.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Oversee employee experience projects and events.
• Partner with Global HR Leadership to execute HR strategies.
• Support growth in multi-geographical locations.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Utilize data for meaningful HR insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a People Generalist in a technology organization.
• Experience across employee relations, employee experience, and people operations.
• Familiarity with region-specific employment laws.
• Ability to implement HR programs and initiatives.
• Action-oriented problem solver focused on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
