Overview

The People Generalist at Sandbox VR plays a crucial role in supporting the retail business by enhancing employee experience, driving business outcomes, and fostering strong relationships within the organization.

In Short

• Gain a strong understanding of SBVR’s Retail business and collaborate with key partners.
• Convert insights into tactical initiatives that enhance organizational structure.
• Enhance employee experience through informed decision-making.
• Coach teams on effective decision-making and communication skills.
• Mitigate legal and compliance risks in employee relations.
• Support Store Managers and District Leaders throughout their tenure.
• Conduct stay and exit interviews and analyze trends for actionable solutions.
• Lead and design specialized training programs in partnership with the People Team.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach in managing challenging situations.
• Passion for supporting people with a people-first mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Must be available to work standard west coast business hours.
