Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer I, you will be providing support to customers using Everbridge products, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Provide support to customers using Everbridge products.
  • Diagnose and reproduce technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Document all work and communications in a call tracking system.
  • Communicate effectively with users of varying technical capabilities.
  • Maintain a personal queue of open requests and update tickets.
  • Contribute to the technical knowledge base.
  • Work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
  • Understand and differentiate between application and web issues.
  • Familiar with network concepts and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical knowledge in PC, networks, and web browsers.
  • Understanding of API/SSO technology.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Exercise good judgment independently.
  • TCP/IP knowledge is a plus.
