Overview

The Partner Sales Manager (PSM) for Japan will lead business expansion of Dropbox through scaling strategic partners, driving the success of existing accounts, and developing trusted relationships.

In Short

  • Responsible for achieving a defined revenue quota.
  • Manage the Partner plan for a managed book of partners.
  • Build relationships within partner organizations to maximize Dropbox's potential.
  • Facilitate Partner engagement to train sales teams.
  • Lead Partner marketing campaigns with internal stakeholders.
  • Establish relationships with distributor personnel for effective sales processes.
  • Collaborate with Account Representatives on opportunity management.
  • Drive a structured renewal process for existing customers.
  • Engage with wider Dropbox teams and named partners.
  • Act as an ambassador for Dropbox, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the IT industry.
  • 3+ years experience in channel partnerships.
  • 2+ years of global collaboration experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for building strategic partnerships.
  • Fluent in Japanese and advanced in English.
