Overview

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for driving Customer Success, Business Retention, and Customer Experience at BD’s largest health system customers in the US Region. This role collaborates with various teams to ensure customer goals are met and BD business is retained.

In Short

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years in healthcare sales or account management.
  • Experience with large health systems preferred.
  • Consultative selling experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong business insight and analytical skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools like SAP and Salesforce.
  • Lean-Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and change.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
