Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Confluent, you will drive the early-stage evaluation within the sales process and enable ongoing value-realization for customers, partnering with Account Executives to address customers' business needs with technical designs.

In Short

• Advance innovative Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live.
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept.
• Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions for new use-cases.
• Deliver Technical Talks and Workshops for Thought Leadership.
• Guide customers with hands-on help for operational maturity.
• Analyze Customer Consumption trends for optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams as a Product advocate.
• Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience.
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture and Data Integration techniques.
• First-hand exposure to Cloud Architecture and Application Development.
• Experience with Automation, GitOps, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL.
• Technical certifications in Cloud Development/Architect and Data Engineering.
• Demonstrated self-starter behavior and a desire to learn.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Confidence presenting to a skilled audience including C-level executives.
