• Design end-to-end flows and interfaces for platform experiences.
• Create clear data visualizations that help users understand their systems.
• Work within and contribute to Confluent’s design system.
• Participate in discovery and research with PMs and engineers.
• Turn complex requirements into simple UX for users.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, global environment.
• Show up as a humble and collaborative teammate.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer.
• Experience designing data-heavy or analytical interfaces.
• Collaboration experience with product managers and engineers.
• Comfort using and extending a design system.
• A portfolio that explains your design process.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Based in Canada with the ability to work with North America and Europe teams.
• Experience with platform, infrastructure, or billing tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization UX best practices.
