Implementation Engineer - Remote

Overview

As an Implementation Engineer at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for the technical execution of solutions and guidance for enterprise customers to maximize the value of their Cloudflare investment.

In Short

• Work in a post-sales landscape to provide advisory and implementation services.
• Plan and deliver organized services ensuring customers see the full value in Cloudflare’s products.
• Gather business and technical requirements to build and deliver solutions.
• Implement changes in the Cloudflare environment following customer processes.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with support and engineering teams.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal documentation.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of OSI model layers and Internet security technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages and infrastructure as code tools.
• Ability to manage projects and work to deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years in roles like Customer Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Knowledge of OSI model layers such as TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP.
• Understanding of DDoS, WAF, Certificates, DNS, CDN, and analytics.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with security aspects of internet properties.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks.
• Fluency in English, additional European languages are a plus.
