Overview

The Senior Vice President – Business Development is responsible for building and delivering a sales strategy for the assigned industry sector through planning, targeting, and pursuing large complex contracts to deliver against our growth goals.

In Short

  • Create a sales strategy for the territory for assigned industry sector to build on our successes and achieve greater growth
  • Build and lead a team to execute on the strategy
  • Participate with sales leadership to build a sustainable and differentiated plan that enables us to win more $10M+ global RPO contracts
  • Identify and actively pursue targeted accounts, ensuring alignment to our sectors and business priorities
  • Ensure our value proposition and sales strategy remains closely aligned with the business needs, balanced against market expectations
  • Act as a trusted advisor working with C-suite executives and human resources leadership teams
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process
  • Collaborate with the client and Cielo’s Solution Design and Enabling Excellence teams
  • Achieve assigned sales quota with assigned expectations for profitability
  • Partner closely with Sector MD’s and other members of client services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Significant experience in successfully winning complex, multi-country RPO contracts
  • Experience building relationships with senior level stakeholders
  • Experience of building a sales strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication, verbal and written
  • Proven negotiation skills including closing complex deals
  • Ability to influence at all levels including C Suite
  • Creative thinker, can demonstrate identifying creative solutions
  • High level of business acumen
  • Active learner, keeps up to date with latest RPO, HR, and business trends
