Overview

The Medicare Sales Director will provide strategic management oversight in developing and directing the Alliance's Medicare Sales Department, ensuring effective sales strategies are implemented.

In Short

  • Lead the Medicare Sales Department and provide executive-level guidance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Medicare programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
  • Manage and supervise Medicare Sales staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic travel within designated counties.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with remote and in-office requirements.
  • Participate in quarterly company-wide events.
  • Maintain a license to sell health insurance in California.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals consistently.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in managed care or business development.
  • At least six years of experience in Medicare sales, four of which were at a supervisory level.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales strategy development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal regulations.
  • Ability to develop KPIs and analyze marketing performance.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Current AHIP certification required.
