Overview

The Business Development role is responsible for accelerating growth within the Education Segment, positioning CDW as a preferred vendor nationally, leveraging our manufacturer partner Samsung and partnering with our customers to provide solutions that meet their evolving business demands.

In Short

  • Responsible for driving sales for Samsung Interactive Flat Panels (IFP).
  • Hold strategic planning meetings with stakeholders.
  • Provide sales forecasting and visibility activity.
  • Target high visibility corporate accounts.
  • Discover C-level clients’ business needs.
  • Coordinate with Sales to execute growth strategy.
  • Develop a long-term pipeline of opportunities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for customer interactions.
  • Drive incremental revenue and profit growth.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical capacity (AV or IFP).
  • 5 years’ experience with strategic account planning.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with C-level contacts.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of facilitating large solution sales.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technical industry.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
