Overview

The Key Account Manager will help Braeburn accomplish its purpose by educating Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) about Braeburn’s products and related access resources. This role will help to ensure HCPs are fully informed about the clinical aspects of the product as well as how to obtain the product when making an independent treatment decision for their patients.

In Short

  • Achieve planned Braeburn goals and patient access to product objectives.
  • Demonstrate mastery of sales competencies including business acumen and scientific knowledge.
  • Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales calls and uncover needs.
  • Provide information to help inform physicians about access related information.
  • Manage and support accounts to ensure product access and resolve reimbursement issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with all Braeburn cross-functional partners.
  • Develop ongoing dialogue with customers to anticipate and adapt to their needs.
  • Exercise sound judgment and ensure integrity and compliance with policies.
  • Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience with at least 3 years in sales or market access.
  • Proven sales performance in Specialty Pharmacy markets.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement for physician-administered treatments.
  • Experience selling specialty products in healthcare settings.
  • Ability to work autonomously to find new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, up to 50-70%.
