Overview

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for developing and executing business strategies with National Accounts, Telehealth Providers, Hospital Systems, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to achieve sales objectives, drive customer engagement, and optimize patient access.

  • Monitor account-level KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, with 3 years in specialty/biotech account management.
  • Experience with National Accounts, Hospital Systems, and/or Telehealth organizations.
  • Strong understanding of contracting, pricing, and reimbursement.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-60% nationally.
