Overview

This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join SolarEdge’s North American Sales Team and have a major part in leading the company’s sales efforts in the solar industry, through direct and channel sales.

In Short

  • Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives
  • Develop and grow relationships with strategic prospects, large accounts, and strategic partnerships
  • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, strategic partners, utility companies, etc.
  • Strengthen partnerships with strategic solar project developers
  • Assist with revenue forecasting and review sales targets
  • Provide strategic input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies
  • Execute brand and messaging strategies
  • Act as an external evangelist for SolarEdge

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in technical sales and/or business development
  • Demonstrated track record of closing strategic, large dollar agreements
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to identify and convert new accounts
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starting team-player with a can-do attitude
