In Short

• Oversee a team of six engineers and take ownership of the team’s success.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Drive hiring efforts and onboard new engineers.
• Assess and enhance engineering processes for efficiency.
• Model and promote effective communication within the team.
• Support engineers in debugging and troubleshooting.
• Align team members' goals with the team's objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience, including management roles.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Node.js, and databases.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and grow engineering teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration experience.
• Remote-friendly, with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
