Overview

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will manage a defined portfolio of distributor accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor. This role is responsible for crafting and executing growth strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals, and maximizing sales opportunities.

In Short

  • Serve as the main liaison between ASC Engineered Solutions and assigned distributors.
  • Develop deep understanding of each distributor's business model and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement customized growth strategies for each distributor.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure distributor needs are met.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and provide strategic guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% to build relationships.
