Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Sales Engineer role, located in Dallas, Texas. This position will be responsible for strengthening the specification position of the entire ASC portfolio at the engineer and owner level in a given territory.

In Short

  • Develop and implement a yearly game plan to strengthen the specification position.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a strategic annual target list.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of specifications and competitive products.
  • Work closely with engineering associations to stay informed of industry trends.
  • Serve as the primary contact between contractors and engineers.
  • Collaborate as a Subject Matter Expert in engineering software development.
  • Document all activities in CRM and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Communicate and coordinate with regional counterparts and teams.
  • Investigate market trends and competitor activity.
  • Fulfill corporate administrative requirements.

Requirements

  • College graduate with an Engineering degree; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • CSI Certification preferred.
  • Experience in writing technical specifications for mechanical systems.
  • Previous technical sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required.
  • Located near a major metropolitan area with easy airport access.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Team player with a competitive nature.
