Business Development Associate - Remote

Overview

Ares Enterprise is seeking candidates for a full-time Business Development Associate position that is remote from their headquarters in Fairfax, VA. At Ares, we deliver innovative systems, solutions and services in support of the critical missions of the Department of Defense along with other federal agencies seeking to ensure the safety and security of our nation. Ideal candidates will have a secret clearance or be able to obtain a clearance.

In Short

• Work with Headquarters staff to improve business development operations.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering.
• Provide market feedback regarding competitive offerings.
• Plan and coordinate business plans and new market penetration.
• Synthesize insights from interviews and focus groups.
• Develop Microsoft PowerPoint briefings and Excel spreadsheets.
• Edit and standardize materials prepared by staff.
• Conduct high-level research for contract opportunities.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain quality results in proposal writing.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Two years of experience in business development or government contracting.
• Understanding of Shipley methodology for business development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to think conceptually and strategically.
• Ability to lead meetings with various staff levels.
• Effective networking skills with senior leadership.
