Overview

The Client Support Engineer II role involves providing multi-level troubleshooting and technical support for Anthology's LMS, Blackboard, ensuring a high-quality experience for customers.

In Short

  • Provide technical support to Tier 1 Engineers via phone and email.
  • Work with customers on complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams.
  • Manage technical contributions from other engineers.
  • Draft and issue product bugs/fixes.
  • Participate in product meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help configure and maintain load balanced environments.
  • Support application server maintenance and upgrades.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming, preferably Java.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to configure multi-node environments.
  • Understanding of application server maintenance.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Software engineering principles and web application development experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English at CEF B2 level or above.
