Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing business of an existing portfolio of ABEC accounts within a defined geography while also prospecting, qualifying, developing, and signing new accounts.

In Short

  • Responsible for top-line sales growth in the Service Business Unit.
  • Manage and grow existing portfolio of accounts.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Maintain close working relationships with other offices.
  • Provide regular reporting of activities, forecasts, and call reports.
  • Monitor competition activity.
  • Build and maintain client satisfaction through relationship building.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management.

Requirements

  • 4 Year degree in Science, Engineering, or Business.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Proven record of successful consultative sales experience.
  • Knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, or biopharmaceuticals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience utilizing CRM software.
  • Ability to influence decision makers.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.
