Associate Director, Sales Training, Psychiatry - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Sales Training, Psychiatry, collaborates closely with the Director of Sales Training, the Sales Training team, Sales Leadership, and Brand Leadership to recommend and direct strategic and tactical training for the U.S. Commercial Psychiatry Sales organization.

• Oversee training curriculum and programs to drive top line sales for the Psychiatry Franchise.
• Lead, support, and develop the Psychiatry Training team.
• Create an inclusive environment for team members.
• Oversee the planning of training with various teams.
• Ensure training content supports brand and organizational goals.
• Assess training and development needs of the field force.
• Support the growth of sales trainers in their careers.
• Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Must be confident in cross-functional team structures.
• Minimum of 5 years’ field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ field management/leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Expert level knowledge of Sales Leadership and Leadership Development.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Headquarters (Corporate) experience.
• Experience with the Medical Regulatory Process (MRP).
• Depth of Psychiatry experience and training experience is preferred.
• Proficient written/verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
