Overview

AbbVie Information Security is seeking a motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cyber Security Engineering Team, responsible for enhancing and maintaining tool sets used by Information Security teams.

In Short

• Architect new and existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Build and iterate over CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with the management and deployment of microservice applications.
• Implement strong security controls in distributed systems.
• Automate deployments and configurations across various platforms.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in observability and processes.
• Develop alerts and response strategies for monitoring tools.
• Contribute to post-mortems and root cause analysis.
• Promote DevOps best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Design standards and procedures for automation and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years; PhD with 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Platform administration (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in high-scale environments and distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Docker workloads.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for learning and adapting to new environments.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows environments.
