Overview

Salesforce is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic Public Sector team, focusing on driving the adoption of Salesforce solutions within State Government Agencies across Utah and New Mexico.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for State Government agencies.

  • Maintain accurate sales activity records in Salesforce.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and government regulations.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas and represent Salesforce at events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the State Government landscape in Utah and/or New Mexico.
  • Strong existing network within State Government is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
