Overview

An Engineering Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a software team for a fintech company, ensuring productivity and success.

In Short

• Manage a team of 3 to 10 software engineers.
• Review software feature requirements and estimate effort.
• Track work velocity and communicate changes in release timelines.
• Conduct code reviews to encourage best practices.
• Triage operational issues and delegate responses.
• Define AWS cloud infrastructure for new features.
• Develop backend features in Java on AWS serverless architecture.
• Develop UI features using React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• May telecommute.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Two years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
