Overview

The Director of Compensation will drive Thrive’s compensation strategy, design, analysis, and administration, playing a pivotal role in shaping an employee experience that attracts, retains, and motivates talent.

In Short

  • Partner with HR and leadership to develop a comprehensive compensation philosophy.
  • Lead the design and implementation of job architecture and leveling frameworks.
  • Develop competitive salary structures and conduct annual benchmarking analysis.
  • Oversee compensation due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Manage annual compensation planning cycles ensuring data integrity.
  • Create visual representations of data for senior leadership.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for compensation programs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CCP, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.
  • Experience in building relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
