Overview

The Director of Compensation & Benefits is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of all aspects of the Compensation, Benefits, and Equity Plans including overall management, design, administration, communication, compliance, activities and vendor management.

In Short

  • Establish compensation strategies for international and US locations.
  • Design and develop broad-based compensation programs.
  • Lead the evaluation of positions and job classifications.
  • Direct annual market surveys and recommendations.
  • Streamline compensation activities and processes.
  • Develop annual salary budgets and lead salary planning processes.
  • Administer all benefit plans and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage the audit process and nondiscrimination testing.
  • Collaborate with HR and business partners for seamless operations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall HR experience, with 10+ years in Benefits/Compensation.
  • Previous experience working with the Compensation Committee of the Board.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state legislation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization.
  • Previous acquisition/divestiture experience.
