Clinical Educator - Remote

Overview

This position will have accountability for performing education activities for Cardiac Monitoring Center/IDTF Operations, facilitating learning sessions, mentoring, and developing policies.

In Short

• Train and quality control new or existing EKG technicians.
• Facilitate education classes for new hires and continuing education for existing employees.
• Provide coaching based on quality control results.
• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Propose process improvements to leadership.
• Identify and resolve problems formally.
• Develop and execute project improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication with interdepartmental staff.
• Ensure confidentiality regarding patient and employee records.
• Perform operational functions to keep skills current.

Requirements

• High School diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Life Science preferred.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT).
• 10+ years in healthcare training/education.
• Experience in a HIPAA regulated environment.
• Knowledge of VitalConnect products.
• Proficiency in Gmail, Google Sheets, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional ECG analysis skills.
